The essential steps to a successful installation
Peel & Stick Wallpaper Installation
To ensure proper adhesion and the best possible finish, your wall must meet the following requirements:
• Smooth, clean, dry, and dust free surface
• If the wall has been recently painted, wait at least 14 days before installation
• Do not apply on a primed only surface
Peel and stick wallpaper works best on smooth or lightly textured walls:
• Light texture (such as fine orange peel) may be suitable
• Heavy textures (stucco, knockdown, popcorn) are not recommended
• Not recommended for popcorn ceilings
Before installation:
• Remove hooks, wall plates, and any obstacles
• Fill holes or cracks and sand if needed
• The surface must be even and non porous
Important
Before installation, allow your wallpaper to acclimate at room temperature for 24 hours.
Please follow the installation guide included with your order carefully.

Our panels have a fixed width of 24.5 inches and are always installed from left to right.
Start at the left corner of the wall.
From the left corner, use a level or laser level to draw a perfectly straight vertical line
from the ceiling to the bottom of the wall.
This line will serve as the guide for your first panel.
It is essential that it is perfectly straight, as all following panels will align from it.
The panels are designed to slightly overlap (1/2 inch) to make alignment easier and
prevent gaps from appearing over time.
Tip
Take your time drawing this line.
Starting with a perfectly straight guide makes all the difference for the rest of the installation.

-
Unroll one panel on a clean surface, pattern side down. Peel back the first 6 inches of the backing paper at the top of the panel and fold it behind.
-
Starting from the left corner, align the top of the panel with the ceiling.
Let it extend slightly past the top if the ceiling is not perfectly level.
-
Make sure the right edge of the panel is perfectly aligned with the guideline
drawn in the previous step.
-
Using the squeegee, secure the top of the panel by smoothing from the center
outward with horizontal strokes to prevent air bubbles.
-
Peel back an additional 12 inches of the backing paper and continue smoothing
using the same technique.
-
Repeat until the entire panel is installed.
-
Lightly pencil a vertical line 1/2 inch from the edge of the installed panel.
This line will serve as a guide for the next panel.
-
Unroll the next panel, peel back the first 6 inches of the backing paper, and align
it with the guideline, matching the pattern.
-
Repeat the same steps for the remaining panels.
The wallpaper is repositionable, so take your time to adjust as needed.

If small air bubbles appear, gently use the squeegee to smooth them outward.
Pay close attention to corners and edges, where excess wallpaper needs to be
properly secured, such as along the ceiling, the floor, or adjacent walls.
To finish the installation, carefully trim any excess at the top and bottom using
a utility knife with a new blade.
Maintenance
To maintain the beauty of your wallpaper, clean it as needed with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaners to preserve the color and finish.
If installation guidelines are not followed, Artza & Co. cannot be held responsible
for any installation-related issues.
